The USS Saratoga
Homecoming
"Operation Desert Storm"
I will be doing a painting of the above photograph of the Homecoming of the Saratoga from the first Gulf War.
Mat Miller walked out onto the jetties and welcomed the Sara with a large American flag as she sailed into Mayport. Mat also commissioned this painting and will own the original.
Prints will be available of the painting in Spring of 2007.
12x18" prints will sale for $20.00 plus $5.00 shipping.
Its time to honor the Sara if you were one of the tens of thousands who served on this mighty United States Navy Capital Ship. It was the Sara and our mighty carrier fleet that commanded the seven seas of this earth for decades. In her retirement she will always be remembered by the many that served with her through history. From Viet Nam to Desert Storm the Sara sailed and commanded proudly.

This is my painting as of February 11, 2008
I hope to finish this in 2008.
I think this will be a great print of this famous aircraft carrier.
